We just finished this custom ordered emblem ring. Dan Manley of Manley Designs conceived this ring design from a Cadillac toaster the he designed. What is a Cadillac Toaster you ask? See it here. Dan built the MD logo emblem for his toaster then thought it would make a cool emblem ring. So he built the ring in a 3D program. Then sent us the file. We milled the ring and cast the ring in sterling silver.

I just love this blog. Alice at The Carrotbox Blog featured our Luv Bug ring today on her fabulous ring blog. She showcases all sorts of new and wonderful rings. Alice is a ring artist herself. She makes gorgeous lucite and glass rings. My favorite pieces of her work are her Kimono rings. I just love the fabric embedded in the ring.

A local So Cal car guy ordered this Kustom Pontiac Ring from us. He presented us with an initial sketch. We each added a few details. The finished product is what you see here.
I think it came out very cool.. Brad delivered the ring to him today.

So the part you don’t see in this picture is my hottie girl friend Lindsey hanging out of the window as we are doing 80 on the 405 going south at 4:45 on a Thursday trying to keep up with and pass this guy in the Dodge to get the shot, and me trying to describe to her how to use my camera…. All for Flickr…….
I am pretty sure we made his day though..
